How does heavy truck roadside assistance work?

Roadside assistance for your truck is available around the clock, no matter where you are or what day it is. It covers up to $500 in labor and $5,000 in towing to the nearest qualified repair facility for your truck and attached trailer. You'll pay a $250 deductible at the time of service.

Most roadside assistance providers for heavy-duty trucks aim to arrive within an hour, and many use mobile apps so you can see when help will arrive. This keeps you informed while service is on the way.

You can use this coverage for three roadside incidents per insured vehicle within a six-month period. We're happy to send help again after that, but that request will include a fee.

Heavy truck roadside assistance covers the same events for semi tractor trailers, straight trucks, dump trucks, and more. Whether you're at a loading dock or on the road, you can get the following help:

• Vehicle towing: We can arrange towing for your truck and trailer to the nearest qualified repair facility. If you choose to have your vehicle towed to a shop that's farther away, you'll need to pay for the extra mileage. You'll also have to cover replacement part costs.
• Winching: If your truck gets trapped in water, sand, mud, or snow within 100 feet of a road or highway, we can pull it out.
• Battery jump-start: We can jump-start your battery on the scene to get you back on the road.
• Fuel and fluid delivery: Emergency delivery is available if you run out of gas, oil, or other fluids. You'll pay for the fuel, but the service and delivery are free.
• Locksmith support: We'll dispatch a qualified locksmith if your keys get lost, stolen, or accidentally locked inside your vehicle. You'll only need to pay for replacement keys.
• Flat-tire assistance: If you have a flat, a roadside professional can change your tire at no cost if you have a spare.
